Um, DUH! Puss in Boots, is, well, Puss in Boots. I think it is a Perrault story from his Mother Goose tales. Puss in Boots is a trickster cat who pretty much scores for his poor master by telling everyone he is the Marquis of Carabas. Evnetually, he scores so much loot that a king believes the poor guy is actually a Lord and gives him his daughter’s hand in marriage.
