- I am tired of being asked for money in the 10 minute walk between my apartment and the train.

- I am tired of dealing with neighbors who have on consideration for others and also feel I owe them respect or need to defer to them because of my race or gender.

- I am tired of looking out my window and seeing police have people pulled over and being patted down outside my building.

- I am tired of having a landlord who is rarely available, if he’s in the country even, and when he does respond to e-mails, it is several days or even over a week later and even then the problems don’t get fixed. May 13th I asked for information on parking spots. He hasn’t given it to me yet. We got back from Germany in early May, told him our kitchen screen was broken. No new screen yet, 3 months later. The tub drips too. Has been for a long time.

- And finally, I am tired of feeling unsafe, as I do now that Will’s motorcycle has been stolen from right in front of the building. 

I can’t wait until October 1.
